Organic search traffic, first quarter vs. latest quarter
Google search impressions over the same quarters
How we grew Bundl’s organic search traffic 10,281% from a brand-new domain.
The challenge
A brand-new domain with no search presence, and pages crawlers could not read.
Bundl started from Create Next App on 1 January 2026. Its first three months in Google Search brought almost no visits.
An early audit found Google could barely see the catalog: only about 2% of the 4,899 apps in the data had a page in the sitemap, because a download-count filter matched almost nothing.
Later, a rendering bug meant prerendered pages shipped a loading skeleton instead of their content, and 29% of sitemap URLs sat unindexed.
The approach
We bet on high-intent comparison pages, and made every page readable by search engines and AI agents.
The product turns a set of chosen apps into one verifiable Homebrew command with a live script preview. Around it we built app pages, comparisons, free-alternative pages, collections and guides: 745 URLs in the sitemap today.
In August 2026 we refreshed all 678 content pages against live sources, added 85 comparison pages, deepened 96 pages that sat on page two and rewrote search titles from Search Console data. A parallel team of AI writers produces the content, and a machine gate checks every page for stale facts, AI-sounding prose and dead links.
For AI answer engines, every page has a markdown twin and a single JSON-LD graph, with llms.txt and a read-only MCP server. We fixed the skeleton-rendering bug, moved hosting to a self-hosted server, and shipped strict security headers, fail-closed rate limits and unguessable IDs.
The results
Organic search traffic grew 10,281% from Bundl’s first quarter to its latest one.
