Digitalholics: 100% of sitemap URLs serving at cutover
Digitalholics designs and installs home theaters, lighting, automation and commercial AV across Dallas–Fort Worth. We rebuilt its site on Astro and Cloudflare, kept every indexed URL, and added local pages, planning tools and lead tracking.

Local service-area pages
How we moved Digitalholics off WordPress without losing a single URL.
The challenge
A WordPress site with years of structural SEO debt, and no way to see which pages produced calls.
The old Elementor site had 49 posts that appeared in no sitemap, a broken second blog page, service pages with up to seven H1 headings, a privacy page with unfilled template placeholders and an indexable thank-you page.
Almost all search traffic went to generic blog posts: the ten service pages earned almost no search traffic in 90 days. No analytics was installed, so nobody could see which pages produced calls or form fills.
The approach
We put URL parity first, then built the site for local buyers.
The migration kept every indexed URL, ported live titles word for word, and cut over through Cloudflare Workers with the old server one toggle away. On 29 August 2026, all 77 sitemap URLs returned 200 at the edge.
We added 20 service-area pages for towns within about 45 minutes of the Plano office, Control4 and Lutron dealer pages, and two planning tools: a screen-size calculator and a Dolby Atmos speaker layout tool. A claims check blocks any credential the company does not hold.
Leads now come through a multi-step quote form with bot protection and source-page attribution, and phone, email and WhatsApp taps are tracked. The site is open to search and AI crawlers, with llms.txt and structured data, and is built for older buyers: 18px body text, 44px touch targets and WCAG 2.1 AA.
The results
Digitalholics now runs on a fast, rollback-safe site with local pages and leads it can measure.
- No broken URLs at cutover: 100% of sitemap URLs served 200
- 104 pages in the live sitemap, including 49 migrated posts and 20 town pages
- “smart home automation frisco” now ranks at an average position of 3.8
- The Dolby Atmos layout tool ranks at an average position of 6.5 with a 4% click-through rate
- Every call, email, WhatsApp tap and form start is now tracked
